Diary Entry: 8

January 31, 1787
Dear Diary,
There's this...guy named Sir Johnson, the Chief Superintendent of Indian Affairs, met with the people at the Bay of Quinte. They agreed to sell the land along the shore of Lake Ontario. Although the 'Crown' did not know the exact amount of land that was purchased, and later on, it was blank. They didn't have any description of the purchased land.
But then when the 'Crown' noticed this mistake, they asked Mississauga to redo the purchase. So they...did, I guess. I had no idea what happened, but I thought it would be important.
I'll get back to you ASAP...or not.
Love,
Kristen Taylor
